The Telegrafo Hotel dates of the year 1860, then it was located in the Amistad street. Around 1888 moves to the populous corner of the Prado and Neptuno streets, to settle in the current construction. In 1911 it was totally reconstructed and when opening its doors it was considered the most modern hotel in the city and among the eleven more good of Latin America.
